Incomfort
InComfort is a series of games exploring the concept of of “uncomfortable” Game Design. Each game in the series is based around and subverts a different component of video games.
Touch Typist focuses on making game controllers uncomfortable. Players must type bizarre phrases while holding down unrelated keys.
Menuvania is based around the concept of game logic and verbs. Players must navigate a standard platformer using a deeply nested menu to control their character.
Asokoban is a simple sokoban game that highlights the role of cameras in video games. Players take the role of a zoo janitor cleaning up after animals. As they progress the game’s camera shifts around while everything else remains the same.
